There’s nothing to bring for a mobile visit. Have the car on a hard, level spot with room to open the doors, boot and bonnet, and the keys at hand or left somewhere safe.

- Tell us if the vehicle runs on LPG or CNG so we can check whether we can inspect it.
Questions about pink slips
A pink slip is the safety inspection NSW asks for before you renew your rego. Mobile means a technician comes to your home or work and does the inspection there. Our technicians are authorised by Transport for NSW, so the result is lodged the same way it would be at a station.
How a mobile pink slip worksYes. In NSW the inspection you need before renewing your rego is called a pink slip, an eSafety check or a safety inspection report, and they’re all the same check. A car that’s been unregistered for more than three months, or is coming from interstate, needs a blue slip instead.
