What you’re paying for
You’re paying for the convenience. Instead of taking time off work, or giving up part of a weekend to wait at a workshop you trust, you get the pink slip done where the car already is. We come to the car whether you’re there or not: leave the keys somewhere safe, tell us where they are when you book, and we’ll let you know the result.
What’s included
The technician carries out the safety check against the Transport for NSW standards. Once the car passes, we lodge the result with Transport for NSW straight away, so you can renew your rego through Service NSW, and we email you the invoice.
What isn’t included
- Repairs. If the car needs something before it can pass, we tell you what and what it costs. Any extra work is quoted separately and needs your approval before we start.
- Your registration and CTP. You renew and pay the rego through Service NSW as usual, and the CTP insurance (the green slip) is paid separately.
